Park City Ski Resort
Park City Ski Resort is a great travel destination. With the Personal Mountain Planner at the official Park City Mountain Ski Resort website, you can even begin to experience the resort before you even arrive.
If you are traveling in from out of state, you will have easy access to the resort due to its location. Park City Ski Resort is located only 35 minutes from the Salt Lake International Airport. It’s very likely that you could hit the slopes the very same day that you arrive.
There is a lot of varied terrain for you to experience and enjoy at Park City Mountain Ski Resort. There are the wide-open Signature Runs which allow intermediate skiers to experience a little bit of what advanced terrain feels like.
If you are a beginner, you can coast down the easier slopes that begin at the summit and expand to the base of the mountain. Or if you feel up to it, you can brave the difficult pitches of Juniper Peak.
If you need to freshen up your skills, or learn completely from the beginning, Park City Ski Resort has a ski and snowboard school. There are also various kids’ programs if you are planning on a family vacation.
In most ski and snowboard schools around the country, it is difficult to get one-on-one attention, but at this resort it is guaranteed that there will be a maximum of five students or fewer in the Kids Signature 5 Program.
With class sizes this small, it is easier for children to socialize and make friends, and learn the skills needed to become a great skier or snowboarder. In addition, they’ll be able to choose what they want for lunch from one of the resort’s restaurants.
The lesson program, Signature 3 Program, mixes two 75-minute sessions of instruction with the Kids Corral educational activities. In addition to the ski or snowboard lesson, your child can participate in arts and crafts or play at the Children’s Learning Center. This program can give your child a little bit of variety.
Also, if you desire a private instructor, Park City Mountain Ski Resort has great teachers to help you learn new techniques and better the skills that you already have.
If you want to enjoy some of what Park City has to offer off the slopes, there are great restaurants, shops, tubing at Gorgoza Park, the Alpine Coaster, or horse-drawn sleigh rides.
